EGRETIER's bilobe volumetric pump, which is simple to disassemble, allows foodstuffs to be transferred with total care. it is made entirely from food processing grade stainless steel
It is linked to a helical stuffing screw that also serves as a drive shaft, and has a "squirrel's cheek". This bulge serves as a regulator between the continuous movement of the stuffing screw and that of the rotor.
This pump is ideal for transferring doughy, fibrous, delicate or very difficult products. It was designed and devised for transferring delicate fruit, but is also used for transferring doughy products, fish, shellfish and meats as well as abattoir by-products etc. A patented process allows for simple and rapid disassembly from the top side (Innovation Prize CFIA 2008) making for simple cleaning and maintenance.
